Passive voice doesn’t equal passive aggression. And passive voice isn’t hard to read. I read journal articles all the time without problem. The passive voice is used to show distance and objectivity; it doesn’t signal aggression.
I don’t see how anyone would interpret ‘the man was bitten by the dog’ as the man biting the dog. In what reality?

I wish YOU had been judging MY last Golden Heart entry. I ended up with a Broken Heart for that one (details on request, even though I would rather forget the whole thing.) And I shelved all writing for a decade.

FYI, my manuscript was submitted in the right category as a romance . . . and it was considerably more than a ‘little rejection.’

I’m so glad that Margaret Mosley had success, and have no doubt that you had much to do with that.
